Hi, my name is Sharon Wodzianski, but everyone calls me Shari. I'm an authorised marriage celebrant providing celebrant services in the Perth region.I've been a celebrant since 2019 and have had the privilege of creating many beautiful ceremonies over the years that embody the love, unity, and significant milestones in people's lives.I adore my job and I will always strive to achieve a standard of service that is a cut above the rest. Alongside my celebrant role, I work as an education assistant. I was also affiliated with SIDS and Kids WA for over 10 years as a volunteer phone supporter; a role that assisted many families through difficult journeys of bereavement.My hobbies are gardening, art, antiques and playing with my dog, Temmie. I enjoy music of all genres and very interested in mental health and the use of alternative therapies to sustain a happy life. I love to meditate and play singing bowls for relaxation.My husband and I are happily married and have been together for well over 25 years. We have been blessed with a beautiful daughter. She is autistic and has helped me to understand the importance of being supportive and mindful of neurodiversity to sustain healthy, meaningful relationships.I have been fortunate to marry into an indigenous family which has really enriched my life and as a result I am very aware how cultural diversity in its many forms helps to shape society.I am also a firm supporter of the LGBT+ community and believe that love is love in its many forms. I look forward to being a part of all types of happily ever afters and can't wait to make your ceremony extra special!

Some are short and sweet, some are a long extravaganza and there are those that are totally traditional. It's your day, your journey, your memories. My goal is to kickstart your 'Happily Ever After'!

ELOPEMENT / LEGALS ONLY

A ’legals-only ceremony’ is for the couple that just wants to get it done. It consists of myself, the couple, and two witnesses (over the age of 18). It includes the signing of the NOIM, all legal paperwork before, during and after the ceremony, with commemorative certificate and digital copy of your ceremony.
I am happy to conduct this ceremony at my home or at your residence. I can travel within Perth and surrounding suburbs for an additional fee.

MICRO CEREMONY

$550

The ‘micro-ceremony’ is for the couple that would like a more private ceremony with around 20 - 30 guests.
It consists of all the inclusions of the legals-only ceremony in front of a small gathering of friends and family. It contains an introduction, optional personal vows, legal vows, optional ring ceremony, signing of paperwork and presentation of the couple as married.
Includes PA system with microphone and Bluetooth for your music. All legal paperwork before, during and after the ceremony, with commemorative certificate and digital copy of your ceremony.

The Ornate Ceremony

The ‘Ornate Ceremony’ is for the couple that is looking for a more customised ceremony with significant personalisation, and no limit on guest numbers.
It includes a detailed personalised love story, legal vows, personal vows printed out for you, optional ring ceremony, as many rituals, poems, or blessings you would like, PA system with microphone and Bluetooth for your music and all legal paperwork before, during and after the ceremony, with commemorative certificate, and both digital and physical copy of your ceremony.
You may have as much correspondence and editing of your personalised ceremony as you feel is necessary.

The DELUXE Ceremony

(Includes rehearsal)

The 'Deluxe Ceremony' is crafted for couples who envision their wedding day as a reflection of their unique love story, offering the highest level of personalisation and correspondence, with a few extra special touches too.
Like the ornate ceremony, it consists of a detailed personalised love story, legal vows, printed personal vows, optional ring ceremony and as many rituals, poems, or blessings you would like, PA system with microphone and Bluetooth for your music, all legal paperwork before, during and after the ceremony, with commemorative certificate, and both digital and physical copy of your ceremony.
It also includes a rehearsal at your chosen location, your printed personal vows in decorative vow card holders for both you and your partner, as well as a complimentary customised candle with your names and the date of your wedding for a candle lighting ritual, or just to keep as a memento of your day.

Commitment Ceremony / Renewal of Vows

A commitment ceremony or renewal of vows consists of an introduction, a personalised couple’s story, an optional candle lighting ceremony, optional personal vows, an optional ring ceremony, and signing of ceremonial certificate, with commemorative certificate, and both digital and physical copy of your ceremony. I provide my PA system with microphone and Bluetooth for your music.Note: For all ceremonies that fall on public holidays and similar days observed I do not charge an additional fee.

FUNERALS, WAKES AND CELEBRATIONS OF LIFE

To acknowledge those who have passed on is an important ritual to help those left behind manage their grief. Celebrating their life by holding an event, performing a funeral or a wake is something that helps to preserve the spirit of a person, friend, loved one or pet in a way that helps to keep their memories alive. Allowing me to be part of this important moment in your life will truly be an honour and privilege for me.

BABY NAMING ceremonies

A Naming Ceremony's purpose is to officially give a baby or child their name and to make the name known to all their friends and family. This ceremony has an extended purpose of presenting the baby to the community and to celebrate the arrival of a new person into the world. It is a wonderful way to celebrate a true gift to a family. I love performing this ceremony and, being a mother myself, I feel very connected to the acknowledgement of our little treasures.
